Ruediger Stroh Chief Executive Officer
Ruediger Stroh provides experienced leadership in the field of international
business, with specific expertise and acumen in the telecommunications
and semiconductor industries. Ruediger's leadership experience includes
Sen. VP & GM for Infineon Technologies worldwide Network &
Computer Storage business headquartered in San Jose, with offices
in Singapore, Tokyo, and Munich. Ruediger directed the startup business
to a profitable $350M in revenue in 3 years, developed major accounts,
and crafted the IP portfolio through strategic partnering and acquisitions.
Ruediger also held the position of Sen. VP & GM for the global
Datacom business unit, and directed the divestiture of the Consumer
Business Unit valued at $250M.
While at Siemens, Ruediger was also responsible for implementation
of worldwide programs reporting to the Siemens Corporate Executive
Board. Responsibilities included key productivity programs in the:
Medical Division (Seattle), Telecommunications Division (Santa Clara,
Boca Raton, Munich), Automation Division (Atlanta, France), PC Division
(Italy). Mr. Stroh holds a degree in business administration and
engineering from the University in Saarbrücken.
Jim Bland Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Jim Bland is uniquely qualified to organize and manage a global sales
and marketing organization staffed by industry veterans in Europe,
Asia, and the United States. Mr. Bland has 30 yeas of sales, marketing,
and materials/operations experience with Infineon Technologies, Lucent
Microelectronics, Western Micro Technology, Zilog, Amdahl, and Intel.
As Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Infineon Network Computer
Systems, Mr. Bland was responsible for all marketing, sales, field
applications and program management functions. Mr. Bland helped
grow this business from zero to a 350 Million dollar global business
with locations in California, Colorado, Munich, Singapore, and Tokyo.
During his tenure at Lucent, Mr. Bland managed Lucent's largest
global OEM customers including sales, marketing strategies, product
definition, and custom ASIC programs at design sites located throughout
the U.S. and Asia.
Mr. Bland started his career at Intel, Amdahl, and Zilog, progressing
through a series of material/operational management positions prior
to moving into sales management at Western Micro Technology.
Gerhard Fettweis Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Gerhard Fettweis founded Systemonic in 1999 in Dresden Germany.
Systemonic's core DSP technology was developed at the Mannesmann
Mobilfunk Chair of the Dresden University of Technology, held by
Prof. Gerhard Fettweis since September 1994. Before that Prof. Fettweis
was at TCSI, Berkeley, CA, where he developed and managed the design
of silicon solutions for the digital cellular market, which included
the design of embedded digital signal processors from scratch. Prof.
Fettweis started his career at IBM Research in San Jose, CA, where
he was a main contributor in the successful product design of new
processors for disk drive read-write channels.
Prof. Fettweis holds a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. degree with honors from
the Aachen University of Technology, Germany.
Karsten Roenner Executive Vice President Operations
Dr. Karsten Roenner, Executive Vice President Operations, has a
wealth of international experience in the semiconductor business.
Before joining Systemonic, Dr. Roenner held various positions with
Siemens and Infineon Technologies in Germany, Japan and the United
States. Most recently he was responsible for Product Marketing,
Business Development and Operations for the Network & Computer
Storage business unit at Infineon Technologies in San Jose, California.
In these functions he launched very high volume products, lead investment
& acquisition projects, and managed the product pipeline of
the business unit.
Dr. Roenner holds a Masters Degree in physics and a Ph-D in electrical
engineering, both from University of Hannover, Germany.
Bruce Myers
General Manager, Systemonic Maynard
Bruce Myers, General Manager, Systemonic Maynard, has enjoyed a
very successful career in engineering at the Raytheon Company. In
his twenty-four years at Raytheon, Mr. Myers applied his engineering
talent and management expertise to communications and radar systems
in both the Defense and Commercial Divisions. Mr. Myers was a founder
and the Director of the RF Networking business at Raytheon. Prior
to that Mr. Myers was the Deputy Director of Engineering for the
RF Components Division.
Mr. Myers earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan
State University and an M.S.E.E. from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
A member of the IEEE, Mr. Myers is also co-author of 6 papers and
a winner of the IEEE's "Wheeler Award" and Raytheon's
"Thomas L. Phillips Award for Excellence in Technology.
